Pilates is a system of movement, built on the Principles of:

Breathing , Centring , Concentration , Control , Precision & Flow.

You need all of these to get the most from the exercises. That is why it must be learnt correctly. In the right order and not picking exercises out of context without having first prepared the body with the previous moments. The Pilates method is the system.

Taught correctly, Pilates will give you the balance of strength with flexibility; A greater knowledge of your body & the tools to improve the way your body performs. Whether at elite sporting level or your daily activities.

Pilates is a System which traditionally uses ALL the Studio Equipment to bring your body back to health. The Reformer is only one part of that system. The rest of the equipment has so much to offer in improving your body and improving your performance on the Reformer.

Pilates prioritises Alignment and Precision of Movement. Your muscles are brought back into balance and move more effeciently, reducing the risk of injury and recover from past injuries or poor alignment issues.
