About Penny

As a Pilates teacher & tutor, I have worked with Olympic athletes, professional football & rugby players and stars of stage & screen. Guiding them to be able to perform at the highest level and at their very best.

It all started when…

I discovered Pilates after I’d injured my back and found that Pilates not only gave me relief from back pain, but it also brought me calm in stressful times. It literally created a safe space for me to tune in to my body to build the strength and flexibility I needed.

I was so passionate about the benefits of Pilates, that I decided to undergo the rigorous training required to qualify as a Body Control Pilates teacher. The reputation of BCP within the industry was for producing the highest quality of teaching & I wanted to get the best training I could.

I have gone on to study and become an Advanced Myofascial teacher with the FAMO training team. The work is based on the Anatomy trains developed by Tom Myers and is movement with a focus on fascia.

I remain passionate about Pilates & truly believe that it can be of benefit to literally any body. Regardless of their fitness level, age or gender. So why not get in contact to see how I can be of benefit to you?

For me, Pilates & our work together is about good functional movement that improves your body on a day to day basis.

Whether you’re a top athlete, a busy parents or working at a desk all day. Your practice with me will help you to move well & feel better.

I personally continue to regularly attend classes, courses & undertake personal study to increase my skills & knowledge as a movement teacher.

I have a special interest in the Mind Body connection, Somatics & also neurological conditions such as Parkinsonism symptoms & MS

From years of working with clients with these conditions, I’ve come to understand the particular requirements needed.
